Because of the almost daily recall of many cheap plastic foreign-made toys due to lead paint and other hazardous materials, parents are looking for suitable substitutes. Why not use your skills as a woodworker to make safe and superior alternatives? There are many parents who are desperately looking for exactly the type of toys you, the weekend woodworker, can provide. First we will look at some of the toys you can make and then offer some suggestions on how to market and sell them.

What type of toys should you make? To help answer this, you might start by considering your likely customers. What do they want and what do they need? Many parents try to select toys that are not only fun but educational as well. There are many types of toys you can make that fit both of these criteria. You will also want to take into consideration the fact you need to be able to make these quickly and easily if you want to make a profit.

Some toys you might decide to make could include letters and numbers. These never go out of style and it is often difficult to find safe, well made examples. You could offer them as a set of numbers 1 through 10, or the 26 letters of the alphabet. You might decide to make a bucket of letters and numbers together or a bucket of letters with enough duplicates of certain letters to spell common words like mom, dad, baby, etc.

You might also consider making puzzle type toys where uniquely shaped pieces fit into matching openings cut into a wooden board. You could paint these with stencils and non-toxic paint or just leave them plain. You are only limited by your imagination. All of the toys mentioned so far can be made with a band saw, various sanders and hand tools. You will want to experiment with different woods to find what you like best, and do not forget you will need to sand every piece smooth since tender little hands will use them.

One of the secrets to successfully marketing your toys will be how you intend to package them. The easiest way will probably be to prepare a small 8 ½” by 5 ½” card on your printer that you can insert in your shrink-wrapped package. You will want to include on the card the fact the item is made in the U.S. from quality, safe, non-toxic materials.

Instead of focusing on the features, all marketing should show the buyer what benefits they will enjoy from owning your product. List all the benefits you can think of and rate them from most important to least. Take the most important and use these to plan your sales pitch. Some places you should try to sell your products are toy stores, bookstores, department stores, gift shops, local specialty stores, and even online at E-Bay or your own website. You should also include a card your buyers can return to receive word of other products you offer or will offer in the future.

Making and selling wooden toys can be an enjoyable way to exercise your woodworking skills and make some money at the same time. With so many toys being recalled because of safety and toxicity concerns, this could be the perfect way to live your dream of earning money from your favorite hobby.

“If you use Emotion and Love to drive your sales and your business, you will create Loyalty Beyond Reason. And I promise you, you will build relationships and enjoy a business that exceeds beyond your wildest expectations”

First of all, before you decide to start your cleaning business, make sure this kind of work is right for you. You will need to be in good physical condition. Cleaning is very hard strenuous work. You will need to have good customer relation skills. You will need to have basic office skills and some accounting skills.

If you are planning on leaving your full time position to start a cleaning business, make sure you have at least six months of savings. Or keep your full time job and start out part time.

Research all the aspects of the cleaning service business. From customer service to advertising, taxes, employees, insurance and bonding, what to charge and how to clean a home professionally. Cleaning your own home and cleaning professionally is totally different. Learning how to clean professionally takes a lot of time. When a client pays for your services they expect to come home and find their home spotless.

Getting those first clients takes time, persistence and patience. You will not get a hundred clients overnight.

Obtaining Those First Clients The hardest part of starting your own cleaning service is obtaining those first clients. Most clients want to know how long you have been in business and want references. The best thing to do is let clients know that, yes, you are new to the business but that you have thoroughly researched all aspects of the cleaning business and assure them that you know what you are doing and that you are quit capable of cleaning their home to their specifications. Be confident. I can’t stress this enough. Clients love to see confidence. It relieves their worries and lets them know that their home is in good hands.

References: To get a few good references when starting out, ask some friends or family members if you can clean their home for free or at a discounted rate. The sound of working for free may not be appealing but it will be worth it to get some good testimonials.

When cleaning those first homes, go for quality, not how fast you can clean the home. Cleaning efficiently takes a long time, but you will get to the point where you can do a thorough cleaning in a short time. After cleaning make sure you go back and double check all rooms to make sure you didn’t miss anything. Impress those first clients and word of mouth will spread soon.

Advertising Your company image is everything. Before you start advertising, decide what image you want to portray on your advertising material. Your image is very important. Be consistent with all your advertising. If you have a logo be sure to use it on all your advertising materials. I think it is best to have a website developed before you start advertising. When advertising, stick with the same logo and colors.

Advertise in Local Paper: Start by running a text ad in your local newspaper. Try to come up with an eye catching ad. Do not sell your services on low rates, sell your services on your quality of work and what you can do for the client that other companies don’t. There is a lot of competition in the cleaning service. You have to stand out from the rest.

Magnetic Signs or Lettering for your Vehicle: Having your business name and contact information on your vehicle is a great way to advertise. We use the vinyl lettering. The lettering looks much more professional than the magnetic signs.

Flyers: You can print nice flyers on your home computer, but I would suggest investing in some professional flyers. Hang flyers at Hair Dressers, Laundromats, Restaurants, Bakeries, Grocery Stores, etc. Put flyers on car windows at local groceries stores and businesses. You can even go door to door in neighborhoods you would like to work in. You cannot put them in mailboxes. but you can put them in the front door.

Door Hangers: Door hangers are a great way to get new clients. Pick the neighborhood you would like to work in and hang the door hangers on the doors. When people get flyers or ads in their mailbox they usually throw them away with the junk mail. But if there is a door hanger on the door they will take the time to look at it.

Business Cards: Start passing out your business cards to friends and family members. You can also ask your local businesses if you can leave some cards on their counters.

Referral Program: A great way to obtain new clients is through a referral program. Offer existing clients a discount when they refer a friend. You can give your existing clients a discount when the friend uses your services three times.

Website: These days people live very busy lives so they use the convenience of the internet to shop for the services they need. A lot of working women will shop for services while at work. Everyone that has a business should have a website. It shows clients that you are serious about your business and allows them research your business in their own time.

Cleaning Products: By using all natrual products, you can offer your clients a healthy cleaning experience and protect ourselves against harsh chemicals. Clients love the natural cleaning products with essential oils. They come home to a healthy clean home filled with the wonderful scents of aromatherapy essential oils.

Tip: Always carry hand sanitizer and wash your hands often while cleaning homes. Wear gloves when cleaning bathrooms. You will be exposed to a lot of different germs in clients homes.

Remember most customers prefer that you bring your own cleaning supplies. That way they do not have to worry about going to the store for cleaning supplies before you clean. Some customers have special cleaners for certain appliances or floors in their houses. These customers usually will have these cleaners on hand for you to use. We almost always use the customers vacuum cleaner. That way you do not have to carry a heavy vacuum from house to house.

What to Charge I mentioned earlier that you should sell your services on your quality of work and not your low rates. If your rates are too low, clients will think that your work is sub-standard and that you are not experienced. Also you want to attract the clients that can afford your services. I made the mistake of pricing my work too low when I first started out. Cleaning is hard work, charge what you are worth. As the old saying goes “You get what you pay for.”

Some companies charge by the hour, some charge by the room, some charge a flat rate per home and some charge by the square foot. I think it is better to charge by the home, not by the hour. If a client knows they have to pay one set fee, they don’t care if you take 2 hours or 5 hours. Also your clients will know what they are paying up front and won’t have to worry about added expenses.

No two houses are the same. And there is no set charge for all homes. You have to clean for awhile yourself to get some experience and to work out a system to clean efficiently. Only you know what you want and need to make. Decide what you need to make hourly to cover all expenses and still make a good profit.

A word of advise: Make sure when you start your company that you charge what you would charge if you had employees. Some people make the mistake of under charging when they start out just to get customers and then later on when they grow and need to hire help they aren’t making enough money on their houses to pay help. Don’t under price your work. Cleaning homes is very hard physical work and you didn’t get into this business to work for nothing.

New Construction Cleaning If you decide to do this type of work you will need more equipment. You will need ladders, window cleaning kits with long extensions, a shop vac, etc. These types of jobs are usually 2 to 3 person jobs. New construction cleaning requires a lot more cleaning. You may have to remove stickers and labels from windows and bathroom showers, sinks and toilets. Some require that you clean the vents to remove dust from construction work. There will be ceiling fans to clean, scrubbing floors, and cleaning woodwork to remove dust. New construction cleaning rates depend on the area you live in. Normally they run from .12 cents per sq .ft. to .25 cents per sq .ft. depending on where you are located. Insurance and Bonding

Insurance and Bonding. You need to be an honest person and somewhat personable. People will need to trust you to be in their homes. Most clients are concerned about having someone new in their house, with good reason. You should be bonded and fully insured. Liability insurance rates depend on your insurance carrier and where you are located. Each person you hire will increase your liability insurance. It’s well worth the cost. You can pay quarterly or yearly. You can purchase your bond through your local insurance company. You will need to renew the bond every year. *Note: if you hire employees and cover them under your insurance, they must be an employee on payroll and not a sub-contractor. If you employ them as a sub-contractor your insurance will not cover them. If they are a sub-contractor they are required to carry their own insurance. You

Hiring Help If you start out cleaning the homes by yourself, you will eventually get to the point where you need to expand your business. Start out with one part time employee. Train her and let her take your place one day a week. Then have her take your place 2 days a week and so on. This will give you the free time that you need to market your business and obtain more clients. After you get more clients you will be able to hire more part time help. Eventually you will be able to stop doing the cleaning yourself and just run the business end, which is the only way you will be able to grow your business. When training new employees, always, either train them yourself or have a lead person train them. Make sure there is a lead person on each and every cleaning job. Employees have a tendency to slack off when they are on their own.

Growing Your Business You will eventually get to the point where you have enough employees and lead people and you will be able to stop working in your business and start running your business. You will find that after awhile it will get to be too much trying to clean everyday and at the same time giving estimates, answering calls, scheduling, doing book work, obtaining new clients, etc.

Remember one of the most important qualifications for a cleaning service is TRUST. A client has to know they can trust you alone in their home. After you acquire a few cleaning positions ask the clients if you can use them for a reference. Most of the time they are more than willing to let you use them for a reference. This is how you build your business and acquire new clients is through referrals. Be dependable. Most clients will want to be set up on an every week or every other week schedule on the same day of the week. Try to always keep this same schedule unless the client asks you to switch to another day. If you have to cancel a cleaning date, make sure you try to reschedule at the earliest possible date to make up the cleaning.

Today’s economic times are troubled, and people are being overwhelmed just trying to survive. If you are looking for a home based business of your own you can develop, or a business model with a low start-up cost, perhaps the scented soy candle business is the right choice for you. One option is to become a wholesaler distributor. To do this, you would need to purchase products at wholesale prices, and resell them at retail pricing. Although, this sounds simple, it may have a few challenges. Before you are able to purchase products and supplies at wholesale pricing, many vendors require proof of a business license, and an established tax identification number.

The second option gives you the ability to get started fast. Making and reselling your own homemade natural soy candles will give you the ability to get underway in a matter of days, if not hours, depending on where you purchase your initial supplies, and get your candle recipes. When deciding where to purchase your soy wax, and candle making supplies, a good rule of thumb is to select a wholesale supplier with an established reputation for delivering outstanding customer service support, in addition to selling quality materials, and products.

My recommendation is to contact their customer service department, and await their return response. Any response taking longer than 24 hours suggests the potential for support problems, so move on and investigate the next supplier you are considering. Many wholesalers will have a minimum purchase orders requirement. Discuss this, and any other requirements any candle supply wholesaler in advance to determine if this is the correct supplier to work with. Before you can work with any supplier, you will need to have funds available to make the initial purchase, and possibly subsequent purchases of raw materials.

Second, and very important to keep in mind; if you need to purchase replacement dyes, or candle fragrance oils will you need to make the minimum purchase on all future orders? If so, what is minimal purchase requirement for future orders? If the start up cost of your soy candle business is under a tightly constrained budget, selecting the right wholesale soy candle supplier will vital to the successful establishment of your soy candle production.

Not all suppliers charge a fee for entering into a business relationship with them. If one supplier is charging a $50 sign up fee, you may want to continuing looking for a supplier without a sign up fee requirement. Another question worth asking, can a credit line can be established at some point in the future. It is entirely possible this knowledge, will help you make a decision in who becomes your wholesale soy candle supplier.

Several wholesale suppliers I work with offer discounts, and sales in addition to wholesale purchase discounts via their newsletter delivered by email. Check with any suppliers to find out what future discounts might be offered. Are there any discounts offered to first time purchasers? Make yourself a list of questions in advance of your interviewing process, so you do not forget to ask any important questions. If you want to start making candles right away, you can purchase products and supplies from hobby or craft stores to get your first candles made before your wholesale candle wax, and materials arrive. Keep track of the cost, so you can sell your scented soy candles covering your costs. Track all costs involved to make sure your costs are covered, and your price point is high enough you make a profit, and recoup your initial cost outlay for reinvestment.

Then you will be able to keep 100% of the profits. Buying candle making supplies from local suppliers can eliminate the purchase requirements of wholesalers, allowing you to get started without delay. You can immediately begin manufacturing your own soy candles until you are able to get the documentation together needed to purchase direct from the wholesaler. Natural scented soy candles are more and more in demand as people become aware of the hazards associated with burning paraffin wax candles in the home. The soy candle business can become a serious money making business model for the do-it-yourself home entrepreneur. Developing your own unique soy candle company can be fun, profitable, and the entire family can participate in the manufacturing process, and contributing creative ideas.

Handmade crafts have been a popular past-time and a great way to earn a living for centuries. In many countries during various eras, it was one of the main ways to support a family and handicrafts were often used as a bartering tool to secure necessities like food and tools. The craft movement has once again become popular, and many handicraft artists are turning their hobby into an exciting part-time or full-time career. There are numerous factors to consider if you would like to make money from your crafting endeavors. For starters, if you want your business to be profitable, you must be a savvy business owner. If you are only doing it for fun, then profit is not as important, but once something becomes your livelihood, you must take it very seriously. The first thing you need to do if you are embarking on a career in handicrafts is to set up a work space. This should include ample room for making your crafts, as well as traditional office space used for managing your orders and shipments, marketing your materials, and keeping track of your expenses and profits. The space should have everything you need and it should be in good working order. Fix sewing machines that are broken by taking them to sewing machine repair shops, be sure your computer and printer are in good shape, and make sure you have more than enough shipping materials and whatever items and tools are needed to complete the crafts.

Once your space is up and running, do an inventory of completed products and determine if you need to stock up before marketing your items. Should your craft business become popular quickly, you want to make sure you are able to satisfy orders. Nothing is worse than having a lot of interest in your products, only to run out and have people forget or lost interest before you can fulfill their orders. Most new companies do not want to overstock items because if things do not sell, they may lose money. However, in the case of a crafter, you were probably completing projects as gifts and donations to begin with, so any leftovers can still be used for those purposes.

After you feel you are fully stocked, begin marketing your business. There are a variety of ways you can do this, ranging from elaborate and expensive marketing plans to free publicity for your crafts. Craft fairs are popular destinations for those selling crafts, and even if you end up not selling any of your items initially, you can learn a lot from the fellow crafters who have been in the business for awhile. The foot traffic at a fair is also a great way to get an idea for what customers want and like, and what the best methods for selling are. Another option for marketing and selling is the Internet. There are sites dedicated specifically to showcasing and selling your handcrafts, and there are other sites that offer customers just about everything you can think of, including crafts. Crafting is fun, but it can also be profitable.

If you’re looking for ideas for easy start home businesses, then this article is for you. The opportunities to have an easily started home business are more abundant than you’ve ever dreamed.

In fact, if you own a computer, you already have a multitude of home businesses available right there. You can become a freelance writer or a copyeditor.

Other easy start home businesses you can operate on your computer are in the affiliate and multiple level marketing arenas. Start-up costs, here too, are minimal, and most of them come with training and support to make them good prospects for easy start home businesses.

Another area you might look for easy start home businesses is in the services area. Do you love to work outdoors, making your lawn beautiful? Do you love dogs? Do you like to be on the go? Then you might consider easy start home businesses such as lawn care services, pet sitting services, or personal errands services. None of these opportunities cost a great deal to get going and can be started part-time, while you keep your day job.

Plus, they are super easy start home businesses to initiate. All you have to do once you’ve chosen your easy home business idea is to have a few flyers printed up, anywhere from 50-200, and place them in strategic places around your local areas.

Contact local businesses and offer your services. Many of them will give you the opportunity to present a plan on how you can provide services for them. You can also place ads in your local newspaper announcing your new business.

And there are few businesses that would turn down the chance to have a free, trial run of your services. This is a great way to show your stuff and seal the deal. Just make sure you are at your best when you provide a free test of your service-then live up to it after you’ve reached a deal.

You can also write a letter or email introducing yourself and your service, and then send it to the appropriate business people. Be sure to follow up with a phone call to them within a week to two weeks.

Crafts and hobbies are also good things to think about when searching for easy start home businesses. Demand for handcrafted items is at an all-time high-and at premium prices.

So turn your quilts, your sailboats in bottles, your dollhouses, your embroidery, your taxidermy, anything you love to make into dollars. These are also especially easy home start businesses because you likely already have some items to sell and the supplies you need to make more.

Local flea markets and consignment shops are good places to begin selling your items. You can also try your luck selling them at online auctions. Upscale shops are another great place to sell your work.

The popularity of rubber stamps for crafting use has exploded over the last decade. Rubber stamps are versatile, and can be used imaginatively for a variety of projects, including cards, scrap-booking, personalized gifts, and more. If your considering crafting with rubber stamps, here are some ideas and techniques to consider.

Choosing unmounted stamps, will give you much more storage space and flexibility. Unmounted stamps can be temporarily mounted with glue or foam, so you can use several wooden mounts without having to have a separate one for each stamp. Unmounted stamps can be easily stored in a binder with page protectors, or in some other type of flat organizational system. That way, you will find what you are looking for much easier once you start to build up your collection.

If you are first starting out, its best to purchase a few stamps at a time. You can get several
quality stamps to multitask with, and then, once you’ve had more experience, start to add to your collection. You may want to do some window shopping first, and perhaps try out some stamps in a physical craft store to get an idea of how they handle. When you are ready to purchase, you will find the widest selection online, and also have more flexibility with comparison shopping.

What type of stamps are good for building a collection? Large to medium background stamps in geometric shapes are extremely versatile. They can be used as a frame or a background for other stamps or embellishments, and depending on the presentation, can create a completely different look with each project. Another must have is a set of alphabet or letter stamps, which will allow you to create a variety of different messages. Depending on where your interests are, you may also want to
get stamps that are related by theme. For example, if most of your projects are birthday cards, you
may want to start with a few stamps that have a related theme, such as balloons or birthday hats.

In addition to starting with your stamps, you’ll also need some other materials and supplies. You’ll
want pigment pads with different ink colors. Another fun option is to use speciality pens that can be applied directly to the stamp, so when you stamp, you’ll have different colors. In order to properly care for your stamps, stamp cleaner and a clean cloth will keep your stamps in good shape. You should clean your stamps after every use, but do not immerse them in water, as this can weaken the rubber.

The craft of rubber stamping is a fun and creative way to express yourself. Rubber stamps are versatile, and can be combined with a other crafting techniques to create one-of-a-kind expressions.
By starting slowly, you can give rubber stamping a try without breaking the bank.

In Stock Market Investors and Traders are defined differently although most of the people remain confused and use these terms interchangeably. People involved in Intraday Trading are referred as traders or day traders and those who put their money in stock market for longer period of time to earn profit later by selling the shares are called investors.

While investing in shares does not involve much risk and one has to see only the fundamentals of the company whose shares they are planning to buy, intraday trading involves greater risk and intraday trader has to see the technical view of the company, here my tip to them is that they should be fast and quick at taking decisions during online trading as markets are very volatile and changes levels quickly.

There are certain rules which to keep in mind before starting intraday trading:

Choosing brokerage: While choosing a brokerage for intraday trading you should see their available markets, features of trading software, their market data feeds and their commissions and fees.

Choosing Market: Each of the markets have their own characteristics suited to different styles of trading. While choosing a intraday trading market best suited for you see the initial and maintenance margin requirements, tick sizes and values, and volatility (range of movement).

Which stocks to buy: In day trading one cannot just enter any stock. You should see two things in the shares you are planning to buy for intraday trading: liquidity and volatility. While liquidity refers to the volume of the stock it allows you to enter and exit at a good price, Volatility refers to the price range an intraday trader operates in. Thus volatility means greater profit or loss.

Some Do’s and Don’ts of Intraday Trading:

If the share you are holding is in minus and the index is positive from yesterday then it should be cut and if intraday trend of index is in buy then one should buy a stock in which is in plus.

It is not necessary that a stock which is strong today during intraday trading will remain strong tomorrow also, simultaneously if a stock is weak today might not be weak tomorrow.

Keep up with the latest news, as the general psychology of public is to buy when good news is there.

If US Markets have gone up overnight, then here in India markets in all probability will open strong, so one should be quite careful when buying stocks.

Always invest in stocks which have high volume, these kind of shares are also called liquid stocks.

Start with paper trading and then enter the real market when you start making profits on paper.

Remain constant in volume i.e., if you are trading in ten lots of Nifty Futures then trade in ten lots only.

And last but not the least Stop Loss is a must in Intraday Trading.

A lot of people have already discovered the joys of starting a candle business. Since candle making, in itself, is a fun hobby, earning some income by selling them is just icing on the cake. If you’re one of the millions who love scented or decorative candles, then this business should work for you!

The very first thing that you need to do is to know what raw materials to use and what procedure you need to follow. If candle making isn’t your present then you can easily learn how to make candles. Once you learn the actual steps in creating candles, the next step would be to begin asking yourself the right type of questions:

• What type of candles will you be selling?
• What marketing and advertising strategies would you use?
• Which supplier can provide the best type of materials?
• How would you price the candles?

As you ask yourself these questions, you would realize that starting a candle business is far from easy after all. The best way to start this type of business is by launching it at a smaller scale. Before you actually delve into bazaars, exports, or custom-made candle making, you should start at the best place in the whole world-your home.

You can make use of candle making starter kits at the beginning of your business. If not, invest in the following supplies:

• Aluminum pot
• Glass jars
• Mold pillars
• Bulk of wax (could be beeswax, paraffin or soy wax)
• Wicks
• Color blocks or dyes
• Fragrance or scents

Remember to purchase most of these materials in wholesale so that you get the items at a cheaper price.

Starting a candle business at home is a bit easier to handle as you just focus on purchasing the right type of materials and the actual creation of the candles. Your clientele is also quite basic as you primarily approach your closest relatives and friends. These people are the best recipients of the early prototypes of your candles as they would be able to provide honest feedback.

Typically these friends and relatives will be your best sales people in the beginning. They will usually spread the word and before you know it you will have more clients to make candles for. Suddenly starting a candle business is not that complicated anymore.

You do not need much to start an online home business. Of course, there are some things that you cannot do without, but these are few and far between. As a general rule of thumb, you will want to make sure that you have everything you need before you actually start running your business.

Here are three things that will help you to succeed with your home based business.

1. Motivation is essential! You need to be motivated in order to succeed with any type of work at home biz; even if you have a lot of past experience. The great thing about motivation is that it does not cost you a dime. If you are motivated you can succeed. It has nothing to do with your experience or start up money.

2. When it comes to physical items, a successful home biz work center is based around a quality computer. After all, if you are going to work on the web you need to have a PC that allows you to do this. Luckily, computers are not as expensive as they used to be. This makes it easy for anybody to buy a reliable PC that will allow them to start daily operations.

3. A successful e-commerce needs a reliable connection. If your business is an online home business you need to be connected at all times. This means that you should buy cable or DSL as opposed to dial up connection. Not only is dial up too slow to successfully run a home based biz, but you risk getting kicked offline time and time again.

As you can see, you need both eternal motivation and physical equipment for your online work at home to succeed. If you have the three things listed above, you will be on the right path to success with whatever opportunity you decide on.

In these unstable, financially fickle times with not many jobs around, what can you do to not only shore up your own financial future, but also that of your children? Is there something you can give that will provide them with tools and enable them to receive extra finances to either pay off a uni. debt or top up low income? Can you give the gift of an independent financial future?

I would like to show you some home business ideas – 3 ways to help your kids and give the future a chance. These would suit anyone willing to embrace new ideas:

Idea 1) Image Consultancy – great for fashion/colour conscious mad kids. Why not harness all that natural enthusiasm and build a business with it? Image consultants are on the look-out to train those who have an eye for colour and natural flair and who enjoy helping others look great. (Could be tricky if they are colour blind!) Courses are available via distance learning or in practical hands-on sessions. This home business idea is fun way to supplement shop-floor wages and broaden horizons.

Idea 2) Life Coaching. Who says that life coaches have to be older? Many kids leaving university or college have high levels of confidence (and energy!) and are well placed to encourage peers. Life coaching covers a huge spectrum that includes motivational, sports, physical, personal, or corporate fields and there are any number of ways to use their own particular skills and build a home business niche. Life-Coaching is future-focused and training teaches the ability to identify skills and capabilities and advise clients how to best use them. Training is either in personal team sessions or via correspondence and online courses.

Idea 3) Online internet Business. There are currently 2 billion worldwide users of the internet and that figure will rise as more and more people discover the benefits. Online marketing is THE business path of the future so what better way to give your kids a helping hand? Having grown up using computers, this already places them with a huge advantage over the rest of us who are still playing catch-up! Often they have a massive online following, so why not harness that potential and provide an extra income?

If you are considering this option, it is essential to look for a good home based business opportunity that offers mentoring and up-to-date training in the marketing skills needed to successfully use current technology. Some actually offer a free online business as well, so it is possible to be set up and running, even when training. Whilst you are at it, this could be a good option for yourself! The internet works round the clock, and it is nice to be able to wake up to new contacts and see your business work, even while you sleep.
